What is Radiofrequency Microneedling?
Utilizing microneedles to puncture the skins surface we can help to improve a variety
of different skin concerns.
The radiofrequency energy, directs heat to the more superficial dermis and
epidermis, simulating the production of collagen and elastin. The heat zones created
helps with collagen induction, which begins to remodel and strengthen collagen cells
to tighten the skin. By inducing thermal trauma this stimulates collagen production in deep layers of the skin, creates
stronger, firmer, and more lifted skin to help with concerns such as wrinkles and
laxity.
What is High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound (HIFU)?
Deep in the skin is the SMAS layer, this is the layer a surgeon will physically lift in a
facelift, being so deep it’s difficult to target with non-surgical treatments- until now!
Focus Dual HIFU face lift creates deep focus points in the SMAS layer through heat zones.These heat zones kickstart the production of collagen and elastin, the natural proteins needed for youthful looking skin.
The SMAS layer is immediately contracted without damage to the skin surface or
surrounding tissues, this creates immediate tightening and lifting. As the skin’s
wound healing response is triggered, the skin naturally lifts, firms, and tightens over
time. You will see that results continue to improve up to 12 weeks post treatment.

What does HIFU feel like?
Patients may feel a mild warming or tingling sensation.
What Does RF Microneedling feel like?
Patients can be aware of the needles penetrating the skin, however this can be mild and the needle depth can be changed accordingly.
Is there any downtime?
With HIFU there may be some redness but will subside within the hour, but with RF needling the skin can be red and feel tight for up to 24 hours post treatment.
How many sessions will I need?
HIFU Treatments are recommended at 2 treatments a year. RF Needling can be performed up to 6 times a year, we recommend 1 treatment every 2 months.
Can I have HIFU and RF Needling on the same day?
Yes. We can perform both treatments in one session, or you can space them out it is completely client preference.
When will I see results?
Most patients typically begin to see results 2-3 weeks after their first session. Results will improve over time as their collagen production increases, with the full effects of the produce seen around 12 weeks after the final treatment.
Can I have The Focus Dual treatment if I have Botox and Fillers?
Yes, the focus dual helps prepare your skin before your Botox treatment to make it last longer, we recommend having a Focus Dual Facial two weeks prior to your injectables for optimum results.
